It’s Okay to Be Not Okay—Just Don’t Stay There Forever

Few days back , I woke up feeling disconnected . Disconnected from everything that I was doing  whether It was my daily workouts , meditations, coaching conversations . Everything was perfect on the outside But something inside me whispered: I don’t feel okay.
And for the first time in a long time, I let myself listen and that’s a shift I want to talk about today

 

The Permission We Rarely Give Ourselves

In the world we live in—where confidence is currency and clarity is celebrated—it can feel uncomfortable to admit we’re confused, insecure, or overwhelmed. Especially for high-achieving professionals, there’s a silent pressure to always “have it together.”

So we push through.

We numb out. We mask it with productivity. We call it “just a phase.”

 

But the truth is—sometimes, you’re just not okay. And that’s okay !!

What’s not okay is ignoring it #Forever

 

Acknowledging the Inner Mess

Here’s what I’ve learned as a coach—and more importantly, as a human:

Healing doesn’t begin with solutions. It begins with #Honesty

Acknowledging your truth is not  #Weakness. It’s #Wisdom.
That knot in your chest, the restlessness at night, the constant second-guessing—it’s not something to push away. It’s something to listen to.

It’s trying to tell you something. Maybe:

  • You’re outgrowing who you’ve been.
  • You’re carrying expectations that were never yours.
  • You’re tired of chasing a version of success that doesn’t feel like home.

Whatever it is, it deserves your attention.

 

From Uncertainty to Clarity: One Step at a Time

Once you #Acknowledge the storm, you can begin to move through it.

No, clarity doesn’t always arrive in one big, bold epiphany.
It often shows up in small steps:

  • A journaling session that uncovers a forgotten desire
  • A conversation that helps you breathe deeper
  • A quiet decision to say no to what no longer feels aligned
  • A pause. A boundary. A whisper of #Self-compassion.

The road from “not okay” to “okay” isn’t linear—but it’s always possible.

 

It’s Not Forever—Unless You Choose to Stay There

There is so much power in simply naming where you are.

The moment you say, “I’m not okay, but I don’t want to stay here,” you’ve already taken the first step toward change.

A Question to Leave You With:

What part of you have you been avoiding—because it didn’t look “strong” or “clear”?

Maybe today’s the day you sit with it.
Not to fix it right away.
Just to hear it.

And when you’re ready—you move.
Not toward perfection.
But toward your truth.
